Balmy weather, record progress
News - Monday 20/04 -
Philip and Marc experienced some warm weather yesterday (warm for arctic standards that is) and skied a record distance of 15km. As we reported yesterday, they are now headed toward Baring Island in order to perform measurements of thicker, multi-year sea ice. This means that the terrain will become a lot more chaotic, with chuncks of ice and pressure ridges. For that reason, progress in the coming days will likely be slow.
