Test drilling in Resolute

Marc and Philip were scheduled to head out onto the ice yesterday when they had a minor setback: it turns out that Nala, the dog they were going to take along on their expedition, is pregnant and won't be able to join them.

While trying to resolve the situation, they also conducted some test drilling in the ice right outside Resolute. During the expedition, holes will be drilled in the ice on a regular basis to measure ice thickness using a modular drill. You can find more info on this procedure on the technology page.
